Ferrari 612P made from a McLaren M8B

Ferrari 612P; Solido P/N: 176 modified; representing s/n: 0866 that raced at Watkins Glen in 1969 #16 driven by Chris Amon.
The following picture depict the original Solido 176 model, a McLaren M8B. This allows to see how it looked like prior of being modified.
The following pictures depict the steps that were incurred to reach the final result
To note that the resulting model is a Ferrari 612P, representing s/n: 0866 that raced at Watkins Glen in 1969 #16 driven by Chris Amon, 3rd OA; the modifications included, reshape the front end end as well as the side fenders, the front wheel side panels are not as open, the cockpit is also not as open. open the rear end, fill-up the top right NACA air inlet and modify the top left NACA air inlet to install an oil cooler, change the engine from a V8 to a V12, remove McLaren wheels by Ferrari wheels.
After the mods it is no longer the Can-Am version of the McLaren M8B of Bruce McLaren but instead it is the version of the Ferrari 612P; representing s/n: 0866 that raced at Watkins Glen in 1969 #16 driven by Chris Amon, 3rd OA..
Next, you can see pictures of the final result.

Ferrari 350 P4 built from a 340 P4

This model was made by Fabbi with reference 20 representing a Ferrari 340 P4. This was then modified by me to represent the Ferrari 350 P4 that raced in 1967 at Riverside in the CanAm series with #23 and having Chris Amon as driver finishing 8th overall.
This is the original car (LHS); (RHS) the arch in the back was cutted and space filled up

(LHS) cut the opening in the back; (RHS) start building the ram inlets and the round nose,

(LHS & RHS) more filling and closing of the headlights (before and after filing)

(LHS) final filing; (RHS) painting

And this is the final result:
