This 1932 Ford B made by ERTL Ref. 2501-1 depicted here is a good candidate for a real Hot-Rod.
This Ford B went then through a process of conversion into a Hot-Rod that included: Filing the front hood lateral panels opening it to see a newly installed V8 engine, remove both the front and the rear bumpers as well as the rear spare wheel, remove the side windows deflectors and install a new set of wheels and exhaust pipes. Now it is a good 1/43 representation
